Mel Schlesinger has more than 35 years of commission-only sales experience. Mel’s sales experience includes having sold vacuum cleaners, cutlery, real estate, pools, life insurance, employee benefits and more.

After building a very successful business working with voluntary employee benefits Mel started a sales coaching business in 2001.In 2013 Mel launched The LinkedIn Lead System, teaching salespeople and business owners how to leverage LinkedIn to generate 3 to 5 referrals on demand.

Today Mel has returned to his roots as an insurance agent with a focus on health care planning for retirement. With no current client base Mel is using the same principles that he teaches to build his business.

As a coach, Mel is a graduate of Coach U and the Certified Guerilla Marketing Coach Program
Mel is the author of two books: The LinkedIn Lead System, and Get More Group Clients. He has been a regular contributor to Employee Benefit Advisor and HIU Magazine and is a nationally sought after speaker on the topic of Really Simple Sales Success.

After more than 20 years in the Financial Services industry, Ray Mitchell left the Fortune 500 world and started a small business with a mission of helping other small businesses succeed. In making the transition from a biweekly paycheck to only getting paid when the deal is done, Ray had to quickly learn how to network, prospect and win business.

His company, SixFour Web Design & Marketing, specializes in online marketing for small businesses and non-profits. As a consultant, he works with small businesses and non-profit organizations on improving their online presence and how best to take action to achieve their engagement goals with potential customers and donors.

As a public speaker, Ray has spoken on a wide variety of professional and personal topics, covering small business issues, faith, leadership, volunteerism and financial services. A WordPress “evangelist”, he is a regularly requested presenter at southeastern WordCamps.
